We do not sell your personal data for money. This page exists to give you direct control over targeted advertising and to explain, in one place, the rights you have over your personal data under U.S. privacy laws such as California's CCPA/CPRA and equivalent laws in other states. It is incorporated into our privacy policy by reference.

Short version, if you're in a hurry

We don't sell your data for money. No advertising pixel is active on this site today. If you don't want targeted advertising to load in your browser, use the "Do not sell or share my data" button below: you don't need to read the rest of this page for your choice to be recorded.

What "selling" or "sharing" your data means

Under these laws, "sharing" data for cross-site targeted advertising (for example, with the Meta pixel) can legally count as "selling" it, even if no money changes hands. No advertising pixel is active on this site today. When the Meta pixel is active: if you're in the United States it loads unless you choose "Do not sell or share my data" below or your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal; outside the United States it only loads if you accept it. You can change your mind at any time by coming back to this page.

Why this page exists separately

California law (CCPA/CPRA) and several equivalent state laws require the mechanism to opt out of selling or sharing your data to be available on a dedicated page, easy to find and separate from the rest of the privacy policy: not buried inside a long document. That's why this page exists on its own, even though its content complements rather than replaces our full privacy policy.

Categories of personal information we collect

See the full detail in our privacy policy. In short: account identifiers (email, company name), commercial data (your catalog, quotes), billing data (processed by our payment processor, we don't store your full card number), usage data and internet identifiers (attribution and visitor cookies), and, if you sign up for the Sales Agent, the conversations it handles for your business. We do not collect sensitive personal information categories (health, biometric data, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, etc.).

Your rights

  • Right to know: what personal data we hold about you, where we got it, and what we use it for.
  • Right to delete: ask us to delete your personal data, subject to exceptions the law allows (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes).
  • Right to correct: ask us to fix inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to portability: get a copy of your data in a portable format. You can already do this yourself from your dashboard without waiting on a manual request.
  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing: use the button below. It doesn't affect your access to the Service or what you pay.
  • Right to non-discrimination: exercising any of these rights never gets you worse service, a different price, or lower quality: it would be illegal for us to do that.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal

If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we automatically treat it as if you'd pressed the "Do not sell or share my data" button on this page, with nothing further required from you. You can save your choice with the form below at any time, but while your browser sends the signal, the signal wins: we don't load targeted advertising even if you accepted it here. This page tells you when it detects the signal.

Financial incentives

We do not offer discounts, different pricing, or any other financial incentive in exchange for allowing the sale or advertising use of your personal data. Choosing either option in the form below does not change what you pay for the Service.

California "Shine the Light" right

If you're a California resident, you also have the right to ask us, once a year and for free, whether we share your personal data with third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing. We don't, so the answer today would be no, but you can still request it by emailing soporte@ismiro.com.

Geographic scope of these rights

The specific rights on this page (do not sell/share, know, delete, correct, portability) are drafted around the U.S. legal framework. If you write to us from another country and your local law grants an equivalent right, we process it the same way under Section 16 of our privacy policy, even though this page's specific language refers to U.S. laws.

Other U.S. states

Besides California, other states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah) may give you rights similar to those on this page. We apply the same process described here to any of those laws that apply to you.

If we decline your request

If we can't fulfill a request of yours (for example, because we couldn't verify it's you, or because we must retain the data you asked us to delete under a legal obligation), we'll explain the specific reason in writing and how to appeal by emailing us again at soporte@ismiro.com with the subject "Appeal". We review every appeal with someone who wasn't involved in the original decision.

Relationship with our Terms and Conditions

Exercising any right on this page never, by itself, constitutes a breach of our Terms and Conditions or affects your license to use the Service. Section 28 of those Terms expressly confirms this non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

How your choice persists across devices and browsers

Your targeted advertising choice is stored in the consent cookie for that specific browser, as detailed in our cookie policy. If you use a different browser or device, or clear this one's cookies, we'll ask you your preference again there. If you have an account and are logged in, you can come back to this page at any time from any device to confirm your choice.

How we verify it's you

Choosing your advertising preference with the form below doesn't require additional verification: it's a choice you can freely change at any time, at no cost, and it doesn't reveal sensitive data. For more sensitive requests (like deleting your data, or giving you a full copy of your information outside the automatic export) we do ask to verify the request comes from you, typically by confirming from the email registered on your account, as explained in the section below.

Frequently asked questions

Does choosing "do not sell or share" get me worse service?

No. The Service works exactly the same regardless of which option you choose; there are no different features or prices based on your advertising choice.

Can I change my mind later?

Yes, as many times as you like, by coming back to this page and using the form below.

Does this page replace the privacy policy?

No, it complements it. For the full detail of what we collect and why, the privacy policy is always the reference document.

How to exercise a right not covered by this page

To know/delete/correct your data or request portability outside the automatic export, email us at soporte@ismiro.com stating which right you want to exercise and the email on your account, so we can verify it's you. You may authorize a third party (an authorized agent) to make the request on your behalf by telling us in writing. We'll respond within the timeframe applicable law requires (typically 45 days, extendable once if the request is complex).

What we sold or shared in the past 12 months

In the past 12 months we have not sold personal data for money. No advertising pixel is active on this site today. While the Meta pixel is active, we share with Meta, for cross-site targeted advertising, the _fbp and _fbc browser identifiers, the ad click identifier, the address of the public pages you visit (never those of your dashboard) and, if you buy, the purchase with your hashed email (SHA-256), IP address, browser and the amount. The only recipient is Meta Platforms. With the pixel off, none of that is shared. We update this section if the data categories or the recipients change.

Contact for questions about this page

If anything on this page isn't clear, or the form below doesn't work as you expect, email us at soporte@ismiro.com and we'll help you directly instead of leaving you to figure it out alone.

Minors

The Service is aimed at businesses, not underage consumers, and we do not sell anyone's personal data (of any age) for money. No advertising pixel is active on this site today. We do not sell or share for targeted advertising the personal data of anyone we know to be under 16 without the corresponding affirmative consent (the individual's own if between 13 and 15, or a parent's or guardian's if under 13), as required by California law.

Difference between this page and the full privacy policy

This page focuses on your direct control over targeted advertising and an actionable summary of your rights. The full detail of what data we collect, who we share it with, and how long we keep it lives in our privacy policy, which is the document that controls if there's any difference in detail between the two.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle targeted advertising or add a new opt-out mechanism, we'll update this page before the change takes effect.
